Our Beliefs
The following statements provide an introduction to the beliefs
guiding our ministry; however, they do not constitute a required
article of faith that respondents must subscribe to in order
to receive ministry through us. They do provide an indication
as to the type of ministry one would expect to receive through
Wake Up America, Inc..
THE TRUE GOD
We believe there is one and only one living and true God,
an infinite, sovereign Spirit, the Maker and Supreme Ruler
of heaven and earth. God is worthy of our entire honor, love
and confidence. The unity of The Father, The Son and The Holy
Spirit is perfect in every divine part of the great work of
redemption.
(NKJV) I Corinthians 8:6 "Yet for us there is one God,
the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and
one Lord Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and
through whom we live."
(NKJV) Revelation 4:11 "You are worthy, O Lord, To receive
glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And
by Your will they exist and were created."
JESUS CHRIST
We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only true hope
for mankind, our nation and the individual.
We believe that Jesus was begotten of the Holy Spirit in
a miraculous manner, born of Mary, a virgin, as no other man
was ever born or can ever be born of woman, and that He is
both the Son of God and God the Son.
(NKJV) Isaiah 7:14 "Therefore the Lord Himself will give
you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a
Son, and shall call His name Immanuel."
(NKJV) Matthew 1:18&23 "Now the birth of Jesus Christ
was as follows: After His mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph,
before they came together, she was found with child of the
Holy Spirit." ..."Behold, the virgin shall be with child,
and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel,"
which is translated, "God with us."
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe in the Holy Spirit, the comforter, who was sent
by Jesus Christ after His resurrection, to work in the lives
of people, opening their hearts to God and leading them in
faith to Jesus Christ.
(NKJV) John 14:16-17 Words of our Lord... "And I will
pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that
He may abide with you forever‹The Spirit of truth, whom
the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor
knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and
will be in you."
EVIL BEING, SATAN
We acknowledge that an evil being, the devil or Satan does
exist. He works in opposition to all that is good and true
in the world, and we are to oppose all that Satan stands for.
(NKJV) I Peter 5:8 "Be sober, be vigilant; because your
adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking
whom he may devour."
THE AUTHORITY AND INERRANCY OF SCRIPTURE
We believe the Bible to be the verbally inspired Word of
God, without error, and the supreme and final authority in
doctrine and practice.
(NKJV) II Timothy 3:16-17 "All Scripture is given by inspiration
of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for
correction, for instruction in righteousness, That the man
of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good
work."
SALVATION
We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that
the work of Jesus Christ on the Cross was to redeem man from
the power of sin. We believe that eternal life is God's gift
to man through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe
that this salvation is available to all that will receive
it.
(NKJV) John 3:16-17 Words of our Lord... "For God so loved
the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the
world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
(NKJV) John 14:6 Words of our Lord... "I am the way, the
truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through
me."
(NKJV) Romans 10:9-10 "That if you confess with your mouth
the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised
Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart
one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation."
We acknowledge that there are differences of beliefs held
by various Christian churches and denominations, and though
we do not believe these differences are pleasing to God, we
declare peace and support for all who seek to follow the will
of the one true God. We are in opposition to only the church
of Satan and those who pursue the will of Satan.
