Call To Action

Our course is clear in the face of America's Moral Decay. We must restore our nation's Godly heritage. The encouraging words spoken by Abraham Lincoln in his first inaugural address light our way today:

Wake Up America, Inc.'s mission, simply stated, is to "Reclaim America through Jesus Christ." We believe this will only be accomplished by aggressively reaching the lost with the gospel message of Jesus Christ and by calling to action God's people--the Church--in reinstating God's headship over our great nation.

Call to Individuals

The Gospel Truth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, is able to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. As individuals hear and respond to the gospel message, our nation will be turned back to God.

For the individual, the journey begins with an absolute confidence that nothing separates you from God; knowing without any doubt that should you die today, heaven is your home. To assess your relationship with God, complete the survey, "Am I Going to Heaven?"

Is a storm raging in your life, in your family or in the life of a friend? Has this storm caused you to feel isolated and alone with nowhere to turn? Are you tired and ready to give up? Maybe you feel like you're in bondage, unable to break the hold of some problem or addiction in your life. Perhaps, you simply don't know what to do. God wants you to know that you are not alone. He has already provided you a safe haven in the only one capable of calming life's storms. There is an answer!

Call To God's People

God is searching for Christians that will stand in the gap for our nation before Him. Ezekiel 22:30 states,

"And I searched among them for a man that would build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it, but I found no one."

Will God's righteous judgment befall America because He found no one willing to serve Him?

How can we serve Him?

First, We Must PRAY

God's Word tells us:

"The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much."
(James 5:16 - KJV)

In other words, there is power in prayer, God's power.

II Chr. 7:14 (KJV) states,

"If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land."

The healing of America is first conditional on Christians humbly acknowledging their sin of indifference and apathy and asking God for His forgiveness. Then, we must effectively and frequently pray for our nation.

An effective national prayer movement involves:

1. Keeping ourselves and others informed concerning contemporary issues that would draw our nation or individuals further away from God.
2. Consistently and frequently praying for each identified issue.
3. Confessing our national sins before God.
4. Frequently praying for our leaders.

Second, We Must Serve

We can effectively serve Him in Reclaiming America by:

• Personally Reaching Out To Others With the Gospel Message Of Jesus Christ. We MUST NOT loose sight of Christ's great commission to go out and make disciples of all men.
• Standing up for Christ in our daily lives
• Speaking to that store manager that is displaying offensive material at the check-out counter
• Refusing to spend our money on music, magazines or movies that are displeasing to God
• Writing letters to companies sponsoring immoral messages or programming

• Serving in our Church or other ministries promoting family and moral values
• Exercising Proper Christian Citizenship
• By Becoming Informed and Sharing with Others
• By Working to Elect Godly Men and Women to Public Office
• By Running for Public Office
• By Registering to Vote and Voting According to God's Principles, Irrespective of Political Parties or Political Agendas
• By Communicating and Providing On-going Support to Godly Leaders
• By questioning any and all legislation relative to its impact on God and His principles.
• By organizing "Community Impact Groups" within our neighborhood, community or Church. Answer the question, "How can I or our group impact our community for Christ.

Every Christian must realize their Dual Citizenship Role and participate in the political process and vote for godly values. If Christians faithfully exercised this responsibility, there is no question that every election would be carried and that God's headship would once again be restored.

Finally, We Must Give

We must not only give of our time through service, but we must also give financially. Properly directed Godly giving is required to empower ministries, candidates and representatives to be effective witnesses for Christ.

Help Reclaim America

The task of "Reclaiming America Through Jesus Christ" may seem impossible. We are thankful that our God is "THE GOD OF IMPOSSIBILITIES." According to His Word, "...with God all things are possible." (Matthew 19:26 - KJV) We need only to step out in faith claiming His promises, power and provision.

Edmund Burke, an English orator and colonial sympathizer of the later half of the 18th century, said:

"No one could make a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little." (86) "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." (87)

If each of us responds to God's call and submits to His leading, we will experience God's power in restoring our great nation. Remember, we are not alone. He [God] is with us always!! We can do ALL things through CHRIST which strengthens us.

As evangelists Rick Scarborough puts it: "God is calling each of us to stand up, speak up and never ever give up," in our efforts to Reclaim America Through Jesus Christ, "for we do not lose until we quit!"
