Founding of WUA, Inc.
A Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina developer, Horace Tart, looked around and
became troubled by the incremental moral decline of our nation. He saw our
great country being washed away from its spiritual and moral foundations by
a "Storm of Wickedness." He saw an erosion of values where men call
evil good and good, evil. Motivated by an Edmund Burke quote -"All that
is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."- he
began to seek God's will. God responded by calling him to take action. God
not only provided the burden but also the message to be carried forth. Quickly,
God also began to provide the necessary people and finances to actively begin
work on this ministry. Undaunted by the scope of the task, Horace Tart and
a handful of others founded "Wake Up America, Inc."
Our Mission
Wake Up America, Inc. seeks to restore America to the God-centered moral
and spiritual principles it was originally founded upon. We believe that Jesus
Christ is the one and only true hope for mankind, our nation and the individual.
We are dedicated to sending out the gospel message of our Lord, Jesus Christ
and calling to action God's people in effecting a national restoration to
God's principles of moral character and conduct as imparted in His Holy Word,
the Bible. Stated simply, our mission is to "Reclaim America Through
Jesus Christ."
