Get Politically Involved
In determining what to do, one should first seek the Lord's
will. Ask the question, "What can I do?" Opportunities are
limitless. Seek out and support good candidates. Contact your
elected officials concerning pending legislation of importance.
Keep your church and civic organizations informed. Be willing
to sacrifice yourself by becoming involved, running for office,
giving financially to candidates representing Godly principles.
The basis for our government is "OF THE PEOPLE, BY THE PEOPLE
AND FOR THE PEOPLE," one nation under God.
The ideological left cries foul when Christians exercise
their right to engage in politics. Do not be deterred from
our God given duty in a free nation such as ours, we MUST
represent God and His principles in the exercise of our individual
civic responsibilities. Matt. 5:16 states,
"Let your light shine before men that they may see
your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."
