"In recent months, while serving as interim pastor of
a church, I met the founder of Wake Up America, Inc. It is
truly an organization on a mission and with a message that
our nation desperately needs today. The mission is for America
to return to God and His Word upon which our Founding Fathers
based our Constitution and Declaration of Independence. Wake
Up America, Inc. reminds us that these documents express,
in a unique way, the secret of a strong and healthy citizenry.
Wake Up America, Inc. makes it clear in all their presentations
that an individual or a nation can find lasting freedom, happiness
and peace only in recognition of the sovereign God to whom
we owe our ultimate devotion and allegiance and from whom
all blessings flow. Thus, their mission statement is 'Reclaiming
America Through Jesus Christ.' Without apology, their message
is salvation through faith in the Son of God, Jesus Christ.
In John 8:36, Jesus promised, 'If therefore the Son shall
make you free, you shall be free indeed.'
Let us never forget, individually or as a nation, that to
be dependent on this Christ is to be truly independent of
all tyrannies of men or the enslavement of our lower nature.
The liberating power of Christ is limitless. Is it any wonder
that Paul could write, 'Stand fast therefore in the liberty
wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again
with the yoke of bondage.' (Galatians 5:1)
Wake Up America, Inc. believes the health and the survival of America depends on the building up of the local churches
and other Christian groups of ordinary men and women who realize that their independence and freedom depends on a humble
profession of dependence on the grace of God.
America, wake up! Heed the words of the prophet Isaiah who
wrote: 'Look to the rock from which you were hewn, and to
the quarry from which you were dug.' (51:1)
America, help and revival awaits us if we turn to God and
obey, 'If My people who are called by My name will humble
themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked
ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their
sin and will heal their land.' (2 Chronicles 7:14)

"The Bible records in 1 Chronicles 12 that the nation
Israel was preparing for war. Verse 32 describes the sons
of Issachar as people who "understood the times, with knowledge
of what Israel should do". I consider Wake Up America, Inc.
as a ministry made up of people who understand our times,
with knowledge of what America should do. The call for America
to wake up is a call to the church of today. The call is for
the church to "do something." I believe that Wake Up America,
Inc. is actively engaging and challenging church congregations
and others to be a catalyst in what God wants to do in our
land. In accordance with God's word in 2 Chronicles 7:14,
Wake Up America, Inc. believes that God can do what He promised.
He wants to heal our land. And He wants to begin with the
church. Maybe your church can be one of those who will be
instrumental in a sweeping revival in America. The war for
the soul of our nation is raging. Wake Up America, Inc. has
engaged the enemy. How about you? Do you understand the times?
